Ming Pao JUPAS Education Portal – Website Design Case Study
As a leading Hong Kong media outlet, Ming Pao has long focused on education issues. In the highly competitive DSE environment, students and parents have a strong demand for reliable university admission information. Ming Pao wanted to create a dedicated, trustworthy education platform to become the go-to resource for Hong Kong students and parents on their journey to higher education.
Before the digital transformation, relevant content was scattered across newspapers, old websites, and social media. Information was not centralized and updates were not timely. Students and parents often had to search across multiple sources for JUPAS policies, non-JUPAS applications, overseas study guides, subject selection advice, university admission trends, and release day information. Design Objective
Rovertech built a dedicated university admission information platform for Ming Pao (a world-renowned Chinese-language media group). The goal was to become the “one-stop hub” for Hong Kong DSE students and parents by:
